Refund Policy

The short version. 7-day free trial on every software plan. No card, no auto-charge. Month-to-month subscriptions can be cancelled anytime — no refunds on partial months. Annual plans: pro-rated refund if cancelled within the first 30 days. Consultancy retainers: no refund once scope work has started. Details below.

1. Free trial (software)

Every new company on PeoplePulse gets a 7-day free trial of the platform. We do not collect a card or any payment instrument during the trial. If you do not subscribe within 7 days, your account is frozen and your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion.

2. Monthly software subscription

  • Monthly plans are charged in advance for the upcoming month.
  • You may cancel at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not trigger a refund for the current month.
  • You continue to have full access until the end of the paid period.

3. Annual software subscription

3A. Founding-customer setup fee waiver

Founding 10 customers — ₹0 setup fee on annual plans.

The first ten (10) companies who subscribe to any annual plan from 15 April 2026 onwards pay zero setup fee. Customer #11 onwards pays the standard ₹999 one-time setup fee for annual plans. The counter and current cohort status are maintained by PeoplePulse and are final.

4. Consultancy retainers

  • Retainers (Lite / Standard / Premium) carry a 3-month minimum commitment.
  • No refund is available once retainer scope work has commenced (audit scheduled, documents shared, call booked).
  • If cancelled before any retainer work has started, we refund the full first month less payment gateway charges (typically 2-3%).
  • Ad-hoc one-off engagements (e.g. health-check, policy drafting) are non-refundable once work has started. If cancelled before start, we refund in full less gateway charges.

5. What is not refundable

  • Statutory charges, GST and other taxes that have been remitted to the government.
  • Payment-gateway charges (Razorpay, UPI aggregators, etc.) incurred on any refund.
  • Any add-on services already delivered (e.g. on-site onboarding travel, printed I-cards, physical hardware).
  • Losses, fines or regulatory penalties you may have incurred while using the platform — see the Terms of Service, §11 and §12.

6. How to request a refund

  1. Email admin@peoplepulse.co.in from the registered billing email with the subject "Refund request — [Company Name]".
  2. Include your invoice number and reason for cancellation.
  3. We acknowledge within 2 business days and issue the refund within 7-10 business days to the original payment instrument.

If a refund reaches you later than 15 business days, please flag it on WhatsApp +91 91577 39743 — we'll escalate with the payment gateway.

7. Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback or dispute through your bank or card network without first contacting us, we will be forced to suspend your account and dispute the chargeback with evidence of service delivery. Please reach out to us first — almost every refund dispute is resolved amicably within a week.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes apply prospectively only — subscriptions already paid for will continue under the policy that was in effect at purchase.
